So much emphasis is placed on external things. What others are doing. What your therapist said to do. What others are dealing with. It’s time to stop that and focus on yourself. By doing so you’ll begin the process of healing through doing inner and shadow work.

When you are truly ready to begin facing and healing what has happened in your life, it’s important to recognize that healing happens from within. There is no one else that can truly tell you what to do without you going within. The only way any advice you’re going to get from someone—tools or techniques or anything like that—is going to work is when you recognize that the power for you to heal is within yourself.
I’ll use myself as an example. For years, I was searching outside of myself to find what I could do to heal various areas of my life. I have become very intimate with trauma, beginning around the age of five. Throughout my life, I’ve known what it’s like to think that another person, a tool, a book, a song, or a technique is going to heal you. No, it comes from within. You can go to therapy for years and not walk away healed because you’re not healing on a soul level. You’re not addressing what’s going on.
I know it’s scary. It took me years to get to this place. I am speaking from experience, not something I read in a book. This world wants you, and all of us, to focus on external things because they want to keep you distracted. For the purpose of this recording, distractions are seeking someone else to be the answer, or a medication to be the fix.
I’m telling you, when you go inside of yourself—if you don’t know where to start, if you’re just in pain and tired of being in pain, and you’re ready to start this process—you know you hear it. You’ll see it more now on social media and stuff; people are talking about healing and spiritual things just because of the time that we’re in. This is a very internal time, and that’s not going to change for a long time. For those of you who find me, however you do, and listen to this, I want you to know that the longer you delay the work, the more hurt and pain mounts up.
I am so sorry for what you’ve gone through in your life. I truly am. But I don’t want you to continue carrying that burden or being angry at your mom, your father, or your living situations. It hurts; I know it does. I have been there, trust me. But you have to begin going through the steps, doing the work, and addressing the root of whatever it is you’ve gone through in your life in order to move forward. In the times we’re in, it’s a must for each and every one of us to look inside ourselves, no matter if you’re just starting or if you’ve been on this road for 10, 20, or 30 years—you have to go within.
You can do it. It’s time. If you’re in therapy, I’m not telling you not to do therapy. That is a personal decision. But I will say that if you are seeing a therapist or a counselor, it is still very important for you to have healing on a soul level. No matter how you do that, it’s going to involve you really facing what’s happened in your life. Know what you’re dealing with. Don’t be afraid of it; and if you are afraid, do it scared. Do it anyway. That’s what we all have to do no matter what we’re afraid of. Sometimes, you have to do it scared and do it anyway, and this is one of those things you’re going to have to do if you want to move forward and see the life and the emotional well-being you desire. It is possible, but you have to do the work. And that’s why I’m here. I’m going to end this recording on this note and I’ll speak with you in the next one.
